How do I close my Meltek account?

If you want to deactivate your Meltek account, we are sorry to hear that. As you hopefully know, Meltek's service is completely free and we aim to have the highest rewards and fastest pay-out rates of our competitors. In light of that, few of our users seek to close their accounts except when they are leaving their utility company territory altogether. We would welcome hearing from you as to why would like to unenroll.


Please note, that you can limit the number of text or email notifications you receive from us without closing your account. To do so, please go the Profile tab in your Meltek app.


Also, if you are moving within our service territory (Con Edison, Orange & Rockland, PSEG-Long Island), we can update your account to your new utility account number.


If you would still like to close your Meltek account, you can do so by emailing [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully closed.


Please note that if your account is closed, you will not receive rewards that you may otherwise be entitled to for energy saving events earlier in the summer. You also will no longer have access to our refer a user program, in which you (and your friend) can each earn $10 for successful enrollments.
