Terms & Conditions
Meltek Ambassador Program – Terms & Conditions Effective Date: April 10, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern participation in the Meltek Ambassador Program ("Program") between Meltek Inc. ("Meltek") and the participating ambassador ("Ambassador").
1. Program Overview
The Meltek Ambassador Program is a performance-based collaboration where Ambassadors promote Meltek's demand response programs and earn incentives based on successful user sign-ups.
2. Scope of Work
The Ambassador agrees to:
- Promote Meltek through content, outreach, and audience engagement
- Share accurate and approved information about Meltek's services
- Encourage users to sign up and participate in Meltek programs
- Maintain professionalism and represent Meltek in good faith
- Be open to contributing to Meltek's social media channels, campaigns, and blog content when requested
The Ambassador retains flexibility in how content is created and distributed, within the guidelines outlined in this Agreement.
3. Referral Incentives
Compensation is performance-based and tied to verified successful sign-ups:
- $10 per successful signup
- $100 bonus upon reaching 50 successful signups
- $150 bonus upon reaching 100 successful signups
Definition of "Successful Signup": A signup is considered valid only if the user completes registration through the Ambassador's referral link or code, connects a valid utility account, and the account passes Meltek's internal validation checks. Meltek reserves the right to determine the validity of referrals.
4. Tracking & Attribution
- Meltek will provide a unique referral link, code, or tracking method
- Only signups attributed through this method will qualify for incentives
- Meltek is not responsible for untracked or incorrectly attributed referrals
5. Payment Terms
- Bonuses will be paid once milestone thresholds are verified
- Payments will be issued to the Ambassador's Meltek account and can be withdrawn to a bank account via Stripe or redeemed as gift cards
- The Ambassador is responsible for any applicable taxes
6. Referral Program Limitations
- Ambassadors are not eligible to participate in any Meltek referral raffles tied to user signups, in order to prevent double counting or duplicate incentives
- Referral incentives outlined in this Agreement are the sole compensation tied to signups unless otherwise agreed in writing
7. Content & Brand Guidelines
- The Ambassador agrees to represent Meltek accurately and not make misleading claims
- Any use of Meltek branding, logos, or messaging must align with provided guidelines
- Meltek reserves the right to request edits or removal of content that is inaccurate or non-compliant
8. Exclusivity
During the term of this Agreement, the Ambassador agrees not to promote or collaborate with direct competitors of Meltek, including companies offering demand response programs, energy-saving incentive platforms, or similar services, without prior written consent from Meltek.
9. Content Ownership & Usage Rights
- The Ambassador retains ownership of original content they create
- The Ambassador grants Meltek a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content (including website, ads, social media, and email campaigns)
- Meltek may use the Ambassador's name, likeness, and content for promotional purposes with reasonable attribution
10. Minimum Expectations
To maintain active participation in the Program, the Ambassador agrees to:
- Create and share approximately 4–5 pieces of content per month (or as mutually agreed), including a mix of reels, posters, and blogs
- Actively promote their Meltek referral link/code
- Engage with their audience to drive awareness and sign-ups
Expectations may be adjusted based on performance and mutual agreement.
11. Performance Review
- Performance will be reviewed on a monthly basis
- Key metrics include content activity, audience engagement, and number of successful referrals
- Based on performance, Meltek may adjust incentive structures, expand collaboration scope, or continue or discontinue participation in the Program
12. Independent Contractor Relationship
- The Ambassador is an independent contractor, not an employee of Meltek
- This Agreement does not create any employment, partnership, or agency relationship
13. Confidentiality
The Ambassador agrees not to disclose any non-public, confidential, or proprietary information shared by Meltek during the course of the collaboration.
14. Term & Termination
- This Agreement is effective upon acceptance and continues until terminated by either party
- Either party may terminate at any time with reasonable notice
- Meltek reserves the right to terminate immediately in case of misuse, fraud, or breach of terms
15. Fraud & Misconduct
- Any fraudulent activity, including fake signups or misleading promotions, will result in immediate termination
- Meltek reserves the right to withhold payments for invalid or suspicious referrals
16. Modifications
Meltek reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.
17. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
18. Acceptance
By participating in the Meltek Ambassador Program, the Ambassador agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
