In this Q&A, we chatted with Meltek customer Lynette to learn about her experience with our programs and how she’s benefiting from energy-saving opportunities.
Meltek: When did you start using Meltek and how did you learn about us?
Lynette: It was from emails from Con Edison.
Meltek: How did you decide to sign up?
Lynette: I have been seeing the rewards. I said, let me give this a try. And I have already been saving energy, I don’t like to use a lot of lights.
Meltek: Are you experiencing high energy bills?
Lynette: In the summertime, I use my AC a lot. Even though I live in a small studio apartment, my electricity bills can be high due to the AC usage.
Meltek: How do you think Meltek impacts your life?
Lynette: I do work Monday to Friday, but most of the time I try to be at home for the events. When there are events, I precool my house. And I’ve started to unplug appliances if I am not using them, my lamps, and my stereo.
Meltek: How did you find the experience of redeeming rewards?
Lynette: I decided to withdraw the money, and it really helped me out—a lot!
Customer service was really good in guiding me through the steps to set up my Stripe account. Overall, it was a pretty good experience!
Lynette: I have actually sent out some referrals to other people. I tried my best to convince people that Meltek is really good!
Meltek: Which channels would you like to see more content on?
Lynette: YouTube is a great platform where people look for green content. I also think you should create more content for those interested in trees and plants—they might really connect with Meltek’s programs.
